I brought a Christmas tree in a pot. The top half has got very dry and the neddles are dropping. If I repot into a bigger container will the neddles at the top of the tree rehydrate with time, or will they drop off an new ones replace them or will I be left with a half bald tree? Also does anyone have any tips on how to repot it? Thanks for any advice.

The only needled tree that will survive the winter indoors is the Norfolk Island pine. All others must have a cold winter dormant period to survive. If the top half of yours is dying, then there is virtually no hope for it now.
