I was wondering if anyone knew the botanical name of this tree. It grows about 8-10 feet-white bark-a weeping habit-long thins leaves-white,fragrant flowers in the summer. I not sure I even have the common name right. Sound familiar to anyone?

It sounds as if this is Heptacodium Miconoides, which is a shrub. Family is Caprifoliaceae. Native to China, it grows 15-20 ft tall and about 4-6 ft wide. Hardy to Zone 5a, adaptable from full sun to partial shade, but flowers best in sun. Needs acidic, well drained soil, preferable a good loam. Blooms late summer or early fall, has fragrant flowers,

Thanks, Joy. It is Heptacodium. Grows a bit too big for what I wanted. I need something that is at the most 8 feet and spread 5 ft. Summer flowering. I'll keep looking.
