In India now on tour and my guests have been thrilled with every day! We have seen so much including the magnificent Taj Mahal. Nothing compares to seeing this gem in person and our sunrise visit was something out of a storybook. We are in Jodhpur now, the Blue City and will enjoy a lecture on the garden at the beautiful Mehrangarh Fort today. Forts in India are really fortified palaces or mini cities where royalty would live plus all the people that supported them. Fascinating to see how they lived. Tomorrow we fly to Udaipur to take a boat ride on Lake Pichola plus much more... Please also take a moment to visit the Pix area on the site to see our holiday that Tom and I took just prior to the India Tour - a back to back cruise to some wonderful warm places!

Be sure to check the tours site as it has just been updated with new and exciting information and the 2013 tours are up as well!

I ALSO have one lady wanting to share a room on my South Africa Tour. Let me know right away if you are interested as this tour is now closed for booking and I only have this one place left!!

Our Garden Tours Site is where you will find our very latest tour offerings. China 2013, Ecuador 2013, Argentina 2013 and Paris/Chelsea 2013 are all up. I am just doing short versions of the tours right now but there is enough there for you to see and the registration form is there as well for each tour. Since 1998 I have welcomed both new and repeat guests. There is much more there so please visit www.gardeningtours.com

Our Panama site is at WhyPanama.net Moving to a tropical country from Zone 3a in Alberta was sure some kind of adjustment, but one that we are so thankful we did. It has opened up a whole new world of plant material and article opportunities for me.

"We are visitors on this planet. We are here for ninety or one hundred years at the very most. During this period, we must try to do something good, something useful, with our lives. If you contribute to other people's happiness, you will find the true goal, the true meaning of life."
