You'll need two tall containers. The inner container should fit inside the clear glass outer container with about a half inch gap in between. You could probably use a tall drinking glass for your inner container. You could even cut the top off of a bottled water container and use that. The inner container doesn't have to be clear. Place the smaller container inside of the larger one. Drop spaghetti in all around the edge until the inner container is completely hidden.

I'm using eucalyptus seeds here without the leaves. But you could substitute with any type of "flowy" foliage. I just inserted it into the inner container, to which I've added water, and it becomes an armature for the remaining ingredients. Depending on what you're using, you may want to go with the taped grid method. Visit my website Flowers Made Simple if you've forgotten what that is.

We have a lot of magnolia trees in California and I think their leaves make magnificent foliage material. Just two or three stems here create a bold background for five glorious sunflowers. Insert the magnolia first, then add the sunflowers. Two curly willow stems give the arrangement a touch of added rhythm.
