Get Creative! Do it Yourself

No Strings Attached!
November 5, 2009

Remember stringing popcorn and cranberries and using it as Christmas tree garland? Maybe you still do it. That’s just a little too much work for me!

I prefer to put the popcorn and cranberries into a clear glass vase, then add a liner with floral foam. I cut a few stems from my redwood tree and added the silver dollar eucalyptus that came with my grocery store rose bouquet. A dozen Christmas red roses are given added holiday pizzazz by adding a few shiny ornaments. Just remove the caps and insert your cut rose stems. Cover your mechanics with a festive ribbon and you’re ready to deck the halls!
