Try putting up taut fishing line. That should keep them out.

Hi, I put a lot of diatomaceous earth out in the garden over my bulbs etc. It seems to work. Good Luck.

I have found that, combining red pepper with garlic and curry powder, put ingeneral area where moles dig, works best. It may take a day or two but it works.

I can see where the Diatomaceous earth would work as moles eat grubs etc, in the soil, my concern is that I get a lot of Robins and other birds that feed on the garden insects. Will it harm the birds?

I read in a gardening book (by Ed Lawrence ... a well known Canadian garden expert) that you should put castor oil down the hole. I tried it in my garden when a mole moved in, and have not had a problem since (touch wood).
