I just had to say how pleased I was with the row covers I rigged up! It didn't cost me a cent because I found the clear plastic caught in the brambles in the meadow surrounding my garden and the planks I used to weight it down had also beenleft as garbage in the meadow. Anyway, my radishes, which have been struggling in this cold snap popped right up, thick and strong and I'm hoping it'll make as big a difference in the time it takes for my beets to germinate. All in all I think it's a great idea and I recommend it.
